National Night Out in Bellevue, PA! Tuesday, August 7 4-8pm at Bayne Park!

On Tuesday, August 7, we encourage you to head to Bayne Park for National Night Out Bellevue, hosted by the Borough of Bellevue Police Department.  It will definitely be a great time.  There are a lot of activities that the kids will enjoy – face painting, a bicycle parade, a puppet show, a sidewalk chalk area, and a chance to meet McGruff and Ronald McDonald.  The Bellevue Fire Truck will also be out.  Bicycle helmets will be available for free while supplies last, thanks to the Allegheny County Health Department.  There will be some classes available for children and adults as well – Yoga on Fremont will hold a yoga session for mixed levels at 7 pm, Dean Smith will have martial arts classes for kids at 5 and adults at 6, and Family Tyes will be offering a fly fishing demo!

For you dog lovers & owners, the Humane Society will have dog visits between 4 and 6:30, they will also have a kissing booth with Nola the therapy dog!  There will be a dunk tank and the proceeds will be going to the Bellevue Dog Woods Association to help in the building of a dog park.  Also, watch for the Liberty in Bellevue booth – we will be offering some dog-related items from which the proceeds will also be benefiting the dog park!

This is just some of the fun that will be at the National Night Out Bellevue; more information on events can be found at:  Don’t forget there will be free food – hotdogs and hamburgers!  So come on out to Bayne Park and visit with your community!  We hope to see you all there!
